ReplyDeleteRoo is working on take it with the disc. He has good and bad days with it. lol I might need to scale down to a wooden dowel like Zane is doing. Maybe the disc is too exciting for him to concentrate on the command.

ReplyDeleteI've always started my retrieve work with a dumbbell, but somebody mentioned starting with something else so that if you have problems, you don't "poison" the relationship with the dumbbell.
I have them hold a lot of different objects when they're young so they learn that they are all normal. And they're more willing to hold odd objects on cue.
