Video Overload!
This is Zane starting to learn "brickwork" or what I call "Circus Elephant Trick". I'm clicking whenever the back feet move. Eventually, he'll start side-stepping.

Way to go, Zane! Those videos were awesome! The paws up circus elephant is so adorable! Trying to get back on the stool is so cute!
ReplyDeleteRoo is working on take it with the disc. He has good and bad days with it. lol I might need to scale down to a wooden dowel like Zane is doing. Maybe the disc is too exciting for him to concentrate on the command.
Yes, his his trying to get back on the stool totally cracked me up.
ReplyDeleteI've always started my retrieve work with a dumbbell, but somebody mentioned starting with something else so that if you have problems, you don't "poison" the relationship with the dumbbell.
I have them hold a lot of different objects when they're young so they learn that they are all normal. And they're more willing to hold odd objects on cue.
